Look what's in the Garden

Found in the Garden on the way

I recieved the last of the cards for this swap yesterday, so I am busy sorting & getting them ready to mail. They will be on the way soon. What an incredible group of talented people in this swap........I have to say, this stash was almost worth going underground for, if it meant I coule keep them all!!! LOL!!

Marion - as always, your colours & compositions are intriguing & inspiring
Ute - wow, what unusual cards, they are just lovely
Liz - I adore your cards, what medium have you used? It looks like you have mixed it up a bit.......it was hard giving any of them away
Ab - woo hoo you are soooo clever, what innovative ideas. For any overseas players that recieve one of these cards, the 'subjects' are Australian Native Plants
Jenene - what can I say, you are the master, your trees look so real you could touch them!

Well done all, I can't wait to swap with you all again soon..........hugs Queen of Swaps

WOW.......Amazing Art and Architecture

What fun it has been swapping out these beautiful cards for November's Art & Architecture Swap. Each artist has interpreted the theme a little differently, which has meant that all of the ATC's are unique & special. Abby, from Melbourne has worked her magic in Sepia & soft Seawater blues with scenes from Venice, Melbourne & around the world; Jenene from South Gippsland Victoria, Australia, has created some amazing pieces using Australia's famous artist, Pro Hart, (famous for a 'mixed media collage' he made out of food from the refrigerator on a particular brand of non-staining carpet) as inspiration. Liz from Queensland, Australia has created some interesting collage compositions using imagery & tied them together with a glossy coat on top. Marion & Ute from Germany have added their own flavour as well. Ute's 'rusty' Il Duomo (in Florence) is superb.....I couldn't part with it, sorry people, it is now in MY collection. Marion created some interesting ATC's expanding the theme out to cover time & out world view. WELL DONE EVERYONE............swaps will be leaving Melbourne in a couple of days.
